The current conventional magnetization direction is shown in the figure below:
Everything in the world obeys the law of conservation, and so does the magnet. When attaching or pulling something displays or releases some conserved energy, which is then stored for use as energy applied while pulling. Each magnet has a home and a hard point at both ends. The north side of the magnet will always attract the south side of the magnet.
Common magnetization directions are shown in the figure below:
1> Cylindrical, disc and ring magnets can be magnetized radially or axially.
2> Rectangular magnets can be divided into thickness magnetization, length magnetization or width direction magnetization according to the three sides.
3> Arc magnets can be radial magnetized, wide magnetized or coarse magnetized.
Before the production process begins, we will confirm the specific magnetization direction of the magnet that needs to be customized according to your needs.
Coating and Plating
Sintered NdFeB is easily corroded, because the neodymium in sintered , NdFeB magnet will be oxidized when exposed to the air for a long time, which will eventually cause sintered NdFeB product powder to foam, that is why the periphery of sintered NdFeB needs to be coated with anti-corrosion Oxide layer or electroplating, this method can protect the product well and prevent the product from being oxidized by air.
Common electroplating layers of sintered NdFeB include zinc, nickel, nickel-copper-nickel, etc. Passivation and electroplating are required before electroplating, and the degree of oxidation resistance of different coatings is also different .
